Grom Social Enterprises has appointed Jared Wolfson as CEO of Curiosity Ink Media and EVP of Top Draw Animation. He begins immediately.

At Curiosity, which Grom bought in April, Wolfson will lead partnerships, operations and finance. He reports into Russell Hicks, who was named head of Top Draw Animation and CCO at Curiosity Ink Media last month. And at animation studio Top Draw, acquired by Grom in 2016, Wolfson will head up business development, partnerships and critical operating divisions, reporting into Darren Marks, chairman and CEO of Grom.

Wolfson joins Grom from Jakks Pacific, where he has served as SVP of media and entertainment since 2018. He also managed the LA-based toymaker’s entertainment division Studio JP, driving the development and growth of several multimedia toy and entertainment brands. Earlier in his career, Wolfson worked at ZAG Entertainment and Skyrocket Toys, where he spent more than 15 years developing, producing and distributing content that aired on Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and Netflix.
